Douglas Electric Cooperative invites you to request a FREE Energy Saving Kit! Please complete an “order” by clicking on the item image at the bottom of this page. Signups must be received by August 31, 2025.

Each kit includes: (1) Thermostatically controlled outlet, and (3) Door Sweeps

Thermostatically controlled outlet: lets electricity flow to connected devices when the temperature nears freezing, then cuts the power when the temperature rises. It saves energy by automatically turning off freeze protection devices when they’re not needed. Savings can be significant – up to hundreds of dollars per year!

When attached to exterior doors, Door Sweeps increase comfort by preventing unpleasant drafts. Plus, they save energy by keeping your conditioned (heated or cooled) air from escaping to the outside.

• Offer available until supplies are exhausted or 8/31/25, whichever occurs first.
• Limit 1 kit per residential address.
• Kits will ship in September after the close of the program.
